Re AA (Essex C-Section Case)

The Essex C-Section case has attracted a fair bit of commentary. The facts: Court determines an elective caesarian, if need be using reasonable restraint, to be in the bests interests of a woman with mental health issues. The child is subsequently taken into care.

I was going to write my own commentary but the work has been done formidably over at Pink Tape, so I take the liberty to linking to that excellent account of the case (do note that there are two sequels to the post I am linking to here and here).
